New Scraplings

When making Sock creatures I always have odd bits of socks left over. After a while they mount up instead of throwing them away I make up oddities hence the theme" Scraplings".  They are proving very popular and cut down on the waste. There has been an explosion of Sockie makers in the last year the sock industry must be doing very well. I always buy good quality socks with at least 80% cotton content ,these wash well and will last. The stuffing is safety standard and complies with all the tests.

This week I will be making more Scraplings and Mother's Day sockmonkeys. A few monkeys have been shipped to their new homes in USA and two more have been sent to assist in a local primary school.

It is great that Monkeygang Sockmonkeys are being used for many different projects.  Photo props, teaching aids, assisting in a video, head keeper, raising money in auctions and cheering up sick children. They have been around for years and still continue to bring alot of joy to many people of different ages.

These new Scraplings are very friendly despite their appearance. They live on the bananas skins that the Sock monkeys drop and sleep in the long grass of the Monkeygang Jungle.
